UNIT 17
Hitchens’ intuition is typical
11-12-2024
In Unit 17 we provide additional case material demonstrating that intuition is Christopher Hitchens’ typical or habitual approach to problems and way of decision-making.
INTUITION IS AN INNATE BIASED WAY OF DECISION-MAKING
Carl Jung discovered the psychological function of intuition empirically. He defined it and gave us the criteria to identify dominant intuition. We have demonstrated Jung’s conception of intuition in practice by applying his criteria for intuition to the self-representation material of Christopher Hitchens. There is no instance where Hitchens reaches a rational conclusion – his is always an intuitive standpoint. Intuition thus refers to a specific way of individual decision-making that is totally different from how individuals with a scientific mind-set approach problems and make decisions. Intuition in this sense is an innate biased way of decision-making.
ADDITIONAL CASE MATERIAL
The additional material below confirms the typicalness of Hitchens’ intuitive mind-set. We invite readers to apply the criteria demonstrated in Units 01-16 in viewing the four recordings below.
