THE Hitchens’ LIST

In Unit 19 we present a selected group of individuals who demonstrate an intuition decision-making mindset.
THEORETICAL ORIENTATION
By applying Carl Jung’s conception of the principle of intuition we have selected a group of well differentiated individuals with dominant intuition. This has been done through a keenly observed and carefully considered selection process. These individuals approach problems and make decisions in an innate and biased way through the basic psychological function of intuition.
Intuition is a purely psychological decision-making function. It manifests in any one of four differential classes, depending on the specific typological composition of the individual, in accordance with 3 principles. The intuition mind-set is thus given nuanced expression. The ordering principle of dominant intuition is modified by two additional principles. All three principles are at play in relatively well differentiated individuals. If the individual has dominant intuition, the secondary and tertiary principles come into play in relation to dominant intuition. The same is true for instance in dominant thinking. In the case of an individual with dominant thinking, the secondary and tertiary principles come into play in relation to dominant thinking. Thinking is then modified in definite ways.
Christopher Hitchens thus represents only one of the four differential classes of intuition. The selected individuals we list in this unit demonstrate exactly the same differential class as the intuitive Christopher Hitchens. The three key decision-making principles which are at play in the self-representations of the selected group of individuals listed, match those at play in the self-representations of Christopher Hitchens. We have therefore named this list of individuals with an intuition mind-set, The Hitchens List. The individuals in The Hitchens List express only one typical formation or class of intuition. An extended analysis, applying the second and third principles including their interrelations to dominant intuition, is not indicated at this point in time.
